30 Days of Thanks #7

Right now, most of my house looks like this:

But there is one drawer that looks like this:

And one pantry that looks like this:

And that very small island of organization keeps me from going completely nuts. Ella was crazy today, we only had about 50% of the ingredients to make dinner tonight (and it was tuna fish sandwiches and nachos--not something fancy), and, as mentioned, my house is a wreck. But looking at this drawer and the pantry reminds me that in a very small part of my house there is some semblance of order.

And for that I am thankful {and mostly sane}.

Oh that makes me so happy. My kitchen looked like that today too. It still hasn't quite recovered from the longest day EVER.

Everyone who has kids and a life has a kitchen that looks like that sometimes.........including mine (and I don't have kids!) Good for you for finding the order in it!

Loved this! When my house looks like that (far too often, I'll admit!), I love retreating for just a second to the one organized spot... totally fixes everything! :)

Love your 30 days of thanks, Alissa. So inspires me to have more gratitude in my heart!
