One of the things Ryan really wanted to do in Minnesota was to make homemade croissants. I was a little dubious, worried that at the end of the 19+ hour process we would be disappointed with the results. I am happy to report that I was wrong. Not only did we enjoy the process, but they were delicious. (Of course they were. Anything with that much butter has got to be good!)

Ryan is officially my hero. He's always been a good cook. Also, why haven't we ever all gone to dinner?
Josh--we are the absolute worst at staying in touch with people and going out. My New Year's resolution was to go out once a month with a different couple. Guess how many times we've done it? Once. So...we would love to go out with you guys. But you might have to plan it :)
This is incredible.
Those look amazing!
Look at all that butter- no wonder they were SO delicious! Thanks for sharing! They are a work of art- I am totally impressed. Those pain au raisin look divine!
Looks like you didn't need to go to France after all. And I had no idea Ryan was into culinary arts :) He's a man of many talents.
Oh, I love this!!!! It was so fun watching the whole process!....proud of you Ryan!!
