Beck loves all his Karen Katz "lift the flap" books as well as this series of manners books about dinosaurs ("How does a dinosaur take care of his dog" is a big favorite) by Jane Yolen.
I don't know if it's too late, but anything by PD Eastman, especially "Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb", "Go, Dog, Go", " The Best Nest" and "Big Dog, Little Dog". The Sandra Boynton books, Curious George, Spot, and Little Critter. I like Kevin Henkes, too, but they are probably a little old for Ella. I'll have to pay attention to which books Ty picks to read.

We love the Frances books by Russell and Lillian Hoban. Another favorite author is Kevin Henkes, who wrote Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse.

The Where's Spot books were a hit with B and A. Lots of other ones, too. Call me sometime and we can talk about them!
