End in Sight
As of Saturday at 3:oo pm, I am officially on my way to being done with residency. I have 3 months left, only one of which will be challenging. After nearly 7 years, it's hard to believe that this chapter of our life only has a few pages left. Even though there were some early mornings I would have traded places with the patients sleeping in their hospital bed, all in all I have really enjoyed this experience. I have met amazing patients and have made friends to last a lifetime. Now if I can just survive the PICU....

i CANT believe you are almost done! I kinda forgot you were so close, what are you going to do with your time...oh wait, be a doctor and raise a child (im still pushing for a girl)

That's the best part - feeling the baby move! I miss that part! I want to see some belly shots, too!
I love that you are so close to being done...wish I could say that I was more than only half-way done! It's funny that you talk about early mornings and thinking it wouldn't be so bad to trade places with a few of the patients (at least the not so sick ones)...My chief and I and were just talking about that same sentiment this morning!
